Curriculum path
A thematic walkthrough of how we teach breakout and pullback setups — from range definition to journaled review.
How the path unfolds
Each stage builds a habit you can rehearse on historical charts before bringing live markets into the room.
Define the structure
Mark ranges, swing points, and prior acceptance zones. Without a clear map, a “breakout” is only a label.
Qualify the break
Apply confirmation filters: follow-through, volume context, and rejection of false spikes that re-enter the range.
Locate the pullback
After impulse, wait for constructive depth. Practise measuring the pause against the prior leg and prior micro-levels.
Set invalidation
Write the level that cancels the idea before you consider entry. If risk is too wide, the drill is to skip.
Review with a template
Journal process quality separately from outcome. Bring annotated examples into a clinic or private review.
